Digital Wedding Albums|NYC Wedding Photography| NJ Wedding Photography

Your photographs and wedding album are your lasting memory of one of the most important days of your life.  In fact, think of your wedding album as an heirloom, that can be passed down from one generation to the next.
Do you have the time to create an album of the quality that you see above? Is the New York or New Jersey photographer you hired skilled and talented enough to create an heirloom album? Make sure your photographer is a professional, a member of the noted photography associations and active in his/her state. Digital wedding albums are gorgeous and filled with your lasting memories--go for the best!

On the Beach|New Jersey Wedding Photographer|New York Wedding Photographer

So you live in North Jersey or Manhattan, love the beach but think it's so far away!!! Actually some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen are just an hour away in Spring Lake, NJ and nearby Sea Girt.  What perfect places for engagement or post wedding shoots. Talk with your New Jersey Wedding Photographer to discuss the best options for you.  Time of day is very important--noon is definitely out!  In fact, any New York Wedding Photographer would agree that the perfect time to shoot is one hour before sunset. How romantic! What do you think about photos on the beach??

Best wishes,

New Jersey Wedding Photographer | New York Wedding Photographer | Wedding Photography NJ

You live in the NY/NJ metro area and don't know if you should choose a New York wedding photographer ? How do you begin the process? Do you start with a yellow page directory and look up New Jersey wedding photographer or New York wedding photographer or do you go straight to the Internet? Can you rely on a friend who thinks she knows every last detail about wedding photography in NJ?

If you feel comfortable with the Internet, then I would say start with Google, or whatever search engine you feel comfortable with. Begin with a search built around where your wedding will take place. For example, you've chosen a gorgeous estate up on the Hudson River and you want someone who's shot at that location, so start with: New York wedding photographer. See what comes up, then narrow it down by geography. Of course you can call your venue and see if they recommend any New York photographers--some places keep a list of their favorites.

Many photographers from New Jersey love to shoot in NY and vice versa so don't limit your search--check out New Jersey wedding photographer even if your wedding is in New York.

Bottom line--you want the best photographer possible, one who shoots in the style you want, who is a PROFESSIONAL (not weekend shooter with a digital camera) and who helps you both feel comfortable. Remember to ask lots of questions, take notes and always make sure you are comparing apples with apples!

Congratulations!

Destination Wedding Photography|New Jersey Wedding Photographer|Wedding Photography NJ

Just recently, I've heard of one couple eloping, several getting married at local City Halls, another going to an all inclusive resort with a ceremony just for 2--not making a big deal about the wedding reception and keeping expenses down or spending in different ways-ex. down payment on a house, extended honeymoon, etc. But what about the photographs??

This New Jersey wedding photographer shot a City Hall wedding that looked like a spread in LIFE magazine--very real, very touching and down to earth. Those are images that will last a lifetime.

If you're eloping, why not plan an after-elopement wedding shoot. You can wait until the weather's really nice, dress up in your wedding clothes and go to your favorite beach, lake or the park where your beloved proposed to you.

You are choosing an alternative style wedding because that's who you are-capture this special time in your life with beautiful photographs. Professional photographers will be happy to put together a special package for you!

Congrats!

New Jersey Wedding Photographer|Destination Wedding Photography|Wedding Photography NJ

You'll be spending a long life with your husband (or wife), but the day of your wedding can seem even longer unless you've chosen the right photographer who can help you enjoy every moment of the day.  If you and the photographer are not a match, the day will be less fun and you will feel unnecessary stress.
So.. how do you ensure that you both will like working with your wedding photographers ?  Meet with them, talk with them, ask them questions well in advance of the wedding date.  First impressions can mean a lot so go with your instincts.  Just because your best friend loved this photographer does not mean that you will. Ask them to describe their shooting style.  Will they be giving you a lot of instructions? Are they spontaneous or do they have every shot planned ahead of time? Are they shy or outgoing enough to mix with your friends and family?
Remember to keep some of these ideas in mind.  Gorgeous photographs in a studio or on a web site don't guarantee the comfort zone you need on your wedding day.

Digital Wedding Albums|NYC Wedding Photography| NJ Wedding Photography

Hi.  I just got back from the PPA Show in Tampa, FL (Professional Photographers of America) and saw many wonderful ideas for bridal couples--gorgeous digital wedding albums with glass (really acrylic) covers, metallic and more! The potential for high-end, glamorous layouts continues to evolve.

One of my favorite ideas--a hand-crafted (in Virginia) box made of 100% silk (fabric options) designed to hold 8" x8" prints.  You can look at the prints in the box or take each one out, hold it in your hands and really get close to the moment!!  What a great idea for parents, grandparents and siblings who may not want an entire album.  You can easily carry it as your "brag book", too!
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year !!!

It's a new year--the year of your wedding.

The key to your happiness on this most important day is--be organized and smile!

Speaking of smiles--make an appointment with your  dentist at least six months before your date.  You need to have any dental work done well in advance of your wedding day. Be sure to discuss with your dentist the right way for you to get your smile looking its best!! And your fiance, also!!

A special toothpaste, laser treatments, porcelain veneers--there are so many options. There's even a snap on smile!!!

Don't wait until the last minute....your photos will last a lifetime--you both want to look and feel your best!
